Trill

Hey all, long time no see! Just a quick post to let you know about a new web application I've written. Hope you find it useful!

Trill is designed for those people who are always bookmarking interesting pages they want to come back to. And it's for people who use RSS feeds to keep track of content on the web. Rather than having to leave hundreds of tabs open and litter your browser with bookmarks - which in any case can't be accessed from another PC - you can use Trill.

Just paste a url into Trill's simple interface and it gets added to your own personal RSS feed of things to read later. Then subscribe to the feed and you'll never lose a page again!

Well, that's my sales pitch anyway. If that sounds like something you'd want to give a spin, please do try it out and give me feedback. I expect that there will be bugs that I haven't spotted yet. You can find it here. The account system is separate, so I'm afraid you'll have to register separately. I wanted to be able to move Trill to an entirely separate server without breaking anything.

Also, how are you?

Edit: It's worth mentioning that this early version of Trill only supports Mozilla Firefox. I will be deploying for Internet Explorer, Safari, etc. as I get around to it. Until then, things are rather unpredictable for browsers other than Firefox.

I'm well, thank you, albeit very tired at the moment. Lotsawork. I've just been singing songs about how wonderful the Christian god is - I hope you're proud, Spikey.

I am a Luddite and will continue to use bookmarks because I didn't understand any of that at all... :(

I'm guessing you don't know what an RSS feed is. Other than that I don't think there's anything else complicated in that...

Well, I can say I've never used one, but I think I know about the general idea. Where my brain falls down is what's wrong with bookmarks... am probably not your target audience really.
