Welcome to StoryScript, a modular text adventure engine. So what does that mean? Depending on how you're interested, StoryScript can be two things:

A text adventure

Download the latest version, and a couple of adventure modules and away you go! StoryScript is an intuitive text adventure that you'll find easy to learn and fun to play. Once you've learnt to play through one adventure, the others will be easy to the get the hang of.

A powerful tool

But StoryScript goes beyond that. As well as being the engine – the application – that actually lets you play the adventures, StoryScript is a powerful way of creating your own text adventures quickly. All you need is the latest version and a text editor – anyone can do it! And once you've made an adventure – or part of one – e-mail it to me and soon it'll be on the adventure module page too!
